You might look like you’re doing okay —
but inside, your thoughts are always running.
You replay conversations.
Second-guess decisions.
Feel pressure to have life figured out by now.
And wonder why confidence feels so fragile, even when you’re capable and motivated.
If things feel heavier than they should, you’re not imagining it.
Many people I work with are navigating:
Anxiety and constant mental noise
ADHD-related overwhelm or burnout
Identity shifts and major life transitions
Relationship stress and boundary confusion
Feeling stuck between who they were and who they’re becoming
Therapy becomes a place to pause, unpack, and breathe.
A Space Where You Don’t Have to Prove Anything
This is therapy without pressure or performance.
You don’t need the right words.
You don’t need a plan.
You don’t need to know what comes next.
Sessions are calm, conversational, and focused on helping you feel more grounded, clear, and connected to yourself.
How Therapy Works Here
Many of our counselors have years of experience working in education supporting teens, families, and adults. Our approach is:
Relational and person-centered
Reflective and supportive
Grounded in real life
Holistic — considering mind, body, relationships, culture, values, and spirituality (if you want to include it)
This work isn’t about fixing you.
It’s about understanding yourself more clearly and responding to life with intention.
Is This a Good Fit for You?
This practice works best for people who are:
Thoughtful and self-aware
Open to reflection and growth
Looking for clarity, not quick fixes
This isn’t homework-heavy or surface-level therapy.
It’s steady, supportive work for people ready to go deeper.
Bella Vida Counseling grew out of years spent listening, learning, and slowly realizing I wanted to do this work differently. After working twenty years in education, including fourteen years as a classroom teacher, and even early on I noticed something consistent—students naturally came to me when they were struggling emotionally because I could see there was a WHY behind their emotional and behavioral struggles. I loved building relationships with them, but I often felt limited in how deeply I could help. That curiosity was what first drew me toward counseling.
Opening Bella Vida Counseling allowed me to create the kind of practice I had always envisioned—one rooted in compassion, depth, and a whole-person approach. My work is shaped not only by professional training, but also by lived experience. Like many of the clients I serve, I’ve navigated seasons of stress, transition, and growth, which reinforced my belief that resilience is about pushing through, but also about understanding yourself with more clarity, kindness, and intention.
The name Bella Vida, meaning “beautiful life,” reflects this philosophy. I believe life can be challenging and still meaningful. Through Bella Vida Counseling, I strive to create a space where people—especially helpers, caregivers, and those who feel overwhelmed—can slow down, feel understood, and reconnect with their strengths. Today, my work centers on helping clients move beyond survival mode and toward lives that feel more grounded, intentional, and aligned with what matters most to them.
